Biography
"Noname Maddox was started at the beginning of the millennium with the purpose of reviving the slowly decaying metal scene in Massachusetts. Veterans of the local music scene, Joe Enos (vocals), Bryan Decosta (guitar), and Mike Lacerda (samples) joined forces and set off to challenge the boundaries of modern metal. First, they embarked on finding a guitarist true to the genre. A bonifide metal dude named Shaun Andruk was in a studio down the hall from the trio, and when they heard his thrashy riffs and death metal growls they knew he fit unobjectionably. As things started to progress, Shaun told the band about Jarrod Kenney, a rock and metal bassist who recently broke it off with another band. With one imperative piece to the puzzle left, the band found exactly what they were looking for, in the man who recorded their earlier demo CD. Adam Rounds (drums) came from a punk, jazz, and metal background, and fit right in with this unique ensemble. Working diligently for a year and achieving a sound they worked so hard to perfect, they're finally ready to unleash their music upon the masses. Their passion for their craft and their desire to reach people through song will be their ultimate pay off. noname Maddox are currently mixing their debut EP “The Path of Least Resistance,” with Shane V. at Aftershock Recording Studios."
